Bulgogi [Griddled Beef with Sesame and Soy]

For the marinade:
- 4 scallions, 3 sliced thin, 1 shredded for garnish
- 1/2 onion, chopped fine
- 1 Asian pear, chopped fine
- 4 tbs dark soy sauce
- 4 tbs sugar
- 2 tbs sesame oil
- 2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tbs lemonade
Finely slice the steak, and pound with a mallet to tenderize.
Mix marinade, and marinate the steak at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours.
Heat griddle gently. Add the meat and cook over medium heat, until meat is cooked through. Transfer meat to a serving dish and garnish with shredded scallion.
I was able to buy steak that had already been sliced thin (about 1/8 inch, probably meant for cheesesteaks). That made this super-easy.
