Wish List

These are Year 2000 new albums that I have not listened to, but which I have some reason to think might be good records. Asterisks indicate varying degrees of personal interest (e.g., *** is something I would definitely buy -- at least used).

Also Rated

These are additional Year 2000 reissues that I've listened to well enough to rate, in approximately declining order. Wish List

These are Year 2000 reissues that I have not listened to, but which I have some reason to think might be good records. Asterisks indicate varying degrees of personal interest (e.g., *** is something I would definitely buy -- at least used); # indicates a CD that I'm unlikely to buy because it duplicates much that I already have, but which is very likely to be great.

Sample Size

The following table was the result of an exercise where I went through years 1990-1999 to build retrospective year-end lists. One thing I wanted to see is how my Year 2000 sampling compared with the sample sizes for previous years. (2000 and 1999 recalculated Apr. 23; other figures from Jan. 2001.)
