Music Year 2006
This is my year-end list for records released in 2006. A copy of this
file as of Jan. 12, 2007 is frozen
here. The freeze date represents the
completion of several year-end pieces, including my
Year End Comments.
Post-freeze changes are marked in this color (except for
re-orderings). This will be continued for one year, up to Dec. 31, 2007,
at which point nothing more will be added to it. For
records in hand, * identifies an advance copy, ** something borrowed.
% indicates an album with a 2005 release date that appeared here as
new in 2006 -- these are mostly imports or self-releases and often hard
to figure out.

previously released under the same name (although we're also on the
lookout for trivial rename jobs). They may have extra bonus cuts,
maybe even a whole extra disc of cuts; "twofers" are also included
here.
