Apache: Web server.

Bare Metal: Term for a single computer dedicated to a single tenant. The older term is dedicated server, which is increasingly divided between managed and unmanaged servers -- bare metal has become the common term for the latter, where even the most basic maintenance functions (like rebooting, or installing an operating system) can now be handled remotely through IPMI.

BIND (Berkeley Name Server Daemon): DNS server.

NGINX:

Node.js: Open source JavaScript server-side runtime environment, from 2009, managed by OpenJS Foundation. Event-driven model, functions are non-blocking to execute concurrently and use callbacks to signal completion or failure. Current rev 23.x, active LTS 22.x.
