Kiosk Books

This is a housecleaning exercise, started on April 30, 2026. The idea is to keep a record of discarded books. There are two stages to this: moving the book to the recycle kiosk, and removing the book from the kiosk and sending it to its final destination. Accordingly, there are two lists. I may make brief notes about specific books, but the fact that I'm disposing of them suggests I don't have much to say about them. At some point I'll create more files about books, where I do have something to say.

• Chuck Eddy: The Accidental Evolution of Rock 'n' Roll: A Misguided Tour Through Popular Music (paperback, 1997, DaCapo): I accidentally bought a second copy. This is the old one.
• Ewald Geschwinde/Hans-Jürgen Schönig: PostgreSQL Developer's Handbook (paperback, 2002, Sams): At the time, PostgreSQL had some technical advantages over MySQL, but I've never done anything with it, and never will.
